It is with great enthusiasm that I present to you the transformation of the 1001 Pots website, carried out entirely on Wix. This update marks a true modernization, optimizing both the user experience and the audience of this magnificent ceramics event in the heart of the Laurentians.


1. Context & objective of the redesign

1001 Pots is recognized as the largest outdoor ceramics event in North America, bringing together more than 100 ceramicists in an exceptional natural setting in Val-David, Quebec. Each summer, this event attracts some 50,000 visitors.


The main objective of this redesign was to:


  • Visually modernize the site while respecting its artistic identity.

  • Simplify access to practical information (dates, times, locations, activities).

  • Highlight the diverse offering: exhibitions, conferences, workshops, concerts .

  • Optimizing the mobile experience is a real asset to facilitate outdoor discovery.

We have reorganized the menu to make the sections very clear:


  • Home , Practical information , Programming , Tickets , About .

  • Quick access to ticketing and key events, with visible calls to action.


Clean and visually inspiring design

A simple, organized visual style that highlights the world of gardens, nature, and art. Images (exhibitions, Jardin de Silice, artists) highlight the beauty of the site.



Accessible programming

All events such as masterclasses, workshops, concerts, sessions for children and adults are well presented with dates, descriptions and registration details.


Responsive design

The site adapts well to mobile and tablet screens, ensuring good readability, clearly visible buttons and smooth loading.
